Prescott still did something of which few rookie QBs could ever dream. Ben Roethlisberger led the Steelers to a 13-0 record as rookie, and it looked liked they would never lose as a strong No. 1 seed, all the way through the Super Bowl. Then they ran into Tom Brady and the Patriots, a QB at the top of his game on an elite, playoff-experienced team.

Guess what happened one postseason later. Pittsburgh, as a No. 6 wild-card, rebounded to win it all, led by Roethlisberger’s strong play vs. the AFC field.

Since then, Roethlisberger has added a ring and padded his reputation as a big, athletic, mentally- and physically-tough quarterback who plays his best when the Steelers are doing some strong running.

Because somehow Prescott defied logic by immediately being wiser beyond his years and began ahead of Romo, he made us believe he should already be accomplishing more veteran-like winning things. He’s still 23, just getting warmed up in this league, in these playoffs just like his backfield mate, Elliott.

We are fans of Seattle Seahawks from the countries emerged from the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Some of us live in Russia, some live in Ukraine and Belarus (they differ from Russia as Canada differs from the USA). We have guys from Kazakhstan (it is like Texas, USA a€“ there are also cows, cowboys and oil, but the country is four times bigger by land area), Georgia (not the one to the North of Florida, but the one to the South of Russia) and the Baltic states, our fellows are in Germany, Czech Republic and of course in the State of Washington.
